Only specific delivery services provide delivery by appointment.

The services by appointment are usually reserved for large deliveries, this because they provide a supplement to the cost of shipping which in the case of small amounts this is usually not justified.

If the service offered does not explicitly indicate "delivery by appointment", it is not possible to request this service from the courier. The contact and the note will still be added to the shipment but the courier will only be able to contact him at his discretion.
